Sam's core approach is person-centred, blending in elements of other modalities to support the therapeutic process. Sam has a special interest in addiction, compulsive behaviours, and codependency. Over time, these patterns can leave us feeling stuck, isolated, or disconnected from ourselves and others. Sam invites clients to explore not just the patterns and behaviours, but the underlying wounds, feelings and beliefs that could be sustaining them.
Sam’s experience in case management has given him a pragmatic understanding of recovery pathways for complex behavioural and mental health. Alongside his work as a therapist, he is currently conducting MSc level research in the field of Addiction Psychology.
